Dual Credit Next Year

Take a course at Algonquin College next fall AND receive a high school credit and a FREE college credit at the same time! This is for students interested in attending College in the future. A list of courses is attached too.

Book an appointment with your guidance counsellor. Applications are due May 31st.

Be sure to look over the courses available and know what you would like to take. https://www.algonquincollege.com/ap/fall-2021-course-offerings/

International Languages

Want to take an international language course next year?

The International Language credit courses will be offered on Saturday mornings (9:00 am - 12:30 pm) from September 21, 2024 to June 14, 2025. The registration deadline is October 14, 2023.  All language credit courses will be offered virtually (through Google Meet/Google Classroom).

Please let your guidance counsellor know if you would like to sign up for a course.

Outside OCDSB

Volunteer Expo is a free in-person event where people interested in volunteering can speak with representatives from local charities and non-profits to learn more about opportunities to

volunteer with them. The event on May 23 is from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the Rideau Hub Cafeteria, 815 St. Laurent Boulevard, just inside the front doors.

This is a great opportunity for high school students starting on their community service requirement, seniors and retirees looking for something to do, newcomers to Ottawa who want to get

to know their new community, and anyone else interested in volunteering.

Help us spread the word by downloading and sharing these free assets in English and French:
