Employment Support

Looking for Employment Support? Want help finding a Job?

The This Way ONward program provides youth ages 16-24 with FREE (virtual) job readiness training, helps them develop retail skills and pursue meaningful employment. Participants of this program receive pre-employment training, ongoing career coaching, and support with the job search process. Graduates of the program are then eligible to be referred to seasonal and brand associate positions at various Old Navy locations and other retail stores. The goal is to help youth gain skills, confidence, and employment.

We are currently working with the Old Navy at Ottawa Train Yards among many others and I just wanted to connect and let you know of the upcoming workshops we are running this May.

We are hosting the following workshops this May 2024:

May 8th: 4-5pm (Virtual) Program Introduction and Info-Session

May 14th: 4-6pm (Virtual) Welcome, Resume and Conflict Resolution Workshop

May 15th: 4-5pm (Virtual) Customer Service Skills Workshop

May 16th: 4-5pm (Virtual) Interview Skills Workshop

If you have clients/students who you think would be a good fit for TWO, you can have them apply to the program using the following link:
