Reminders

 

Students may use the basement halls to get to the weight room / fitness center, lower gym or co-op room, but are reminded that the basement halls are not a place to sit and eat lunch or socialize. We invite you to use the cafeteria, library or 1st & 2nd floor hallways at lunchtime.

 

The tech wing doors remain locked during the school day for school safety reasons. Students arriving late or at lunch are invited to enter via the front doors of the school. Students should not be opening the tech wing doors for others during the school day.

Volunteer Opportunities

 

Need volunteer hours? Learning Buddies Network is a non-profit organization that aims to provide tutoring sessions for kids who are struggling academically. In addition to our mission to help kids get the educational support they need, we strive to encourage student volunteers to get involved in their community and grow as leaders.

For any students that need volunteer hours to complete graduation requirement, there is a Basketball Tournament at Ridgemont on Saturday 25 March 2023.  This tournament will have teams from Special Olympics communities in Eastern Ontario.  They would require the student volunteers to act as timekeepers and score keepers for the games.  They would need six students.

Hours would be 8am to 4 pm with a lunch break.  Lunch will be provided to the students.

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Get tips on the transition to university life from current students

• Explore our modern labs and talk with faculty members

• Visit our residences, dining hall and beautiful campus
