Grade 9s - Welcome class of 2026!

Please come to the upper gym doors on the boys’ gym side at 9:00am (we ask you to wait outside the gym until 9am to allow us to set up). You will spend the morning doing orientation activities with our senior Spartan Stars leadership students. Orientation will conclude with some halal pizza for all grade 9s in the cafeteria. Please bring a water bottle to fill up at one of our water stations around the school. Dress comfortably as you will be spending time outdoors if the weather is nice and actively participating in games and activities.

The Spartan Stars are looking forward to meeting you all!

Grade 10s, 11s & 12s

An alphabetical list of student names & first period classrooms will be posted in the foyer. Once in your first period class, your teacher will provide you with your timetable for the year.

Welcome message from our Principal, Ms. Sintic

Welcome EVERYONE!!!  We are very much looking forward to seeing all of you!!  At this point we do not have any Covid restrictions and do recognize that there are students and staff that are still uncomfortable with this, so we ask that everyone respect each others want to wear or not wear a mask.  We do have masks if students would like some.  This year we are anticipating many extracurricular activities in both sports and clubs.  Over the next couple of weeks, these will begin to be advertised for students both in the school and through social media and our website.

For those of you who do not know me, my name is Rachelle Sintic and I am the very proud Principal of Ridgemont High School!  Go Spartans!!! This year our Vice Principals will be Greg Wysynski and please help me welcome Claude Pike to the Ridgemont team!  Claude comes to us with a vast array of administration and teaching experiences.  We are pleased to have the opportunity to work together with staff and families to support our students in the 2022-2023 school year. Please reach out to any of us if you have questions or concerns.

Rachelle Sintic - Principal

Greg Wysynski - Students with the last names from A-G

Claude Pike - Students with the last names from H - Z

Presto Cards

Students who are eligible and pre-registered for Ridgemont will receive a Presto card on Tuesday. Any student who registered late may have to wait on the arrival of their card.

Lockers will be assigned to students based on their first period class.  Students will receive these later in the first week. Be sure to send your student with a combination lock. They will share the combination with their teacher. It must be a combination lock, not a lock with a key.

School/Parent Council

School Council, which is composed of parents and school staff and admin, takes place on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 7pm to 8pm.  All are welcome!

The school day is as follows:

Period 1: 9:00 - 10:15am

Period 2: 10:20am - 11:35am

Lunch: 11:35am - 12:35pm

Period 3: 12:35 - 1:50pm

Period 4: 1:55 - 3:10pm

If you will be absent from school, please have your guardian send a written and signed note to the Main Office, or call the school at 613-733-4860.
