OCDSB
The OCDSB has updated its dress code. Read about it here.

Outside OCDSB
2SLGBTQIA+ youth & students ages 17-30: Rainbow Ottawa Student Experience has officially opened our QueerSupport Program groups for registration!
QueerSupport will hold space for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and students to share our stories, experiences, and struggles, but also to build and share self-care skills and resilience. There will also be opportunities to learn about and engage with Queer and Trans issues like transitioning and coming out/inviting in!
The groups will also of course make time and space for socializing! Connecting to people in your community is so vital in these isolating times.
There will be a general 2SLGBTQIA+ group, and a Trans, Non-Binary and Gender Non-Conforming group, both facilitated by Queer and Trans peers who have some additional training to provide support along the way!

Youth Wellness Summit
The Youth Network Project: Building Connections for QTBIPOC Students presents the first-ever Youth Wellness Summit. The Youth Wellness Summit is open to all high school youth in Ontario, and will be happening virtually!
Students and youth attending the Youth Wellness Summit will receive a $20 UberEats gift card.
Built for QTBIPOC students in Ontario, CCGSD’s Youth Network Project is a free online program and a chance for students and educators to learn more about how our unique identities impact our lives and the world around us through educational workshops teaching students peer-to-peer support strategies, critical thinking, and empowerment.
The Youth Wellness Summit is a virtual half-day event, rooted in values of community healing and revolutionary skill-building. The summit will include a variety of workshops by some powerful and insightful facilitators on the many facets of wellness including mental wellness, wellness through movement, wellness through mindfulness, and wellness through the arts. In taking a multifaceted approach to wellness, attendees will leave with a well-rounded approach to the reality of how we may hold autonomy over our wellbeing in a world that does not always accommodate our needs.
When: Thursday, June 16th, 2022
Time: 12:00pm – 5:00pm EST
We hope you join us for this exciting skill-building and wellness opportunity!
