REC (formerly known as Breakfast Club)

We will be putting up our indoor garden tower in semester 2.  Students, staff and parents can come by soon to munch on some winter lettuce and hopefully grow some spinach and kale for our smoothies - maybe even some strawberries!!!

ELD Class Project

In collaboration with Youth Fusion, a program aimed at experiential learning in the classroom, our two ELD classes (Mrs. Gandhi & Miss Jokela) will be building a structure on our school grounds! The structure we choose hopes to build friendship, outdoor appreciation, and increase student knowledge of environmental design. We have been working for the last few months on the design and background work on this project and are now in our 'public consultation' phase. In May we will be heading to Ryerson University in Toronto to showcase our work along with other highschools across Canada! In early June we will reveal our structure and Mayor Jim Watson will be in attendance!
